  1. Had my 4th surgiversary on the 2nd.  Down 33.79 kg from my all time heaviest, down 25.29 from when I saw the surgeon preo-op, and down 21.29 kg from day of op.  No regrets!! :)

  12. Just want to remind folk that Weight Loss Surgery (WLS) is just a tool.  YOU have to honest and accountable with yourself. YOU need to own up to your emotions, behaviours, and actions rgarding food.  What.  When.  How much.  No point in "down the track" blaming someone else. "Suck it up".  Be honest and accountable.  All I can say is that the younger folk now aren't fighting what our older ones have - in the interest of better health, better fitness, more 'acceptable' physique.  Stoopid 1970s, 1980s , 2000s, 2010s.  Been there, done that.  Stoopid "low-fat" paradigm.  Stoopid Ancel Keys.

  17. Ick.  I have been horribly ill and bed-ridden for the last three weeks.  Turns out that it was an "Adverse Reaction" to Lyrica, a medication I am on for Fibromyalgia nerve pain.  Now weaning off under GP supervision.
