    Help! Where to start.

    Hi Steph05, I had a sleeve on the 15th December 2015 and it was the best thing I have done for myself. I haven't had any problems what so ever. I reached my goal approx.7/ 8 months after I had my sleeve and maintain my weight ever since.( I lost just over 41kgs ) Totally enjoying life to the max. I didn't go for a band as I didn't want to go through the fills and unfills. I have changed what I eat for example, I don't eat a lot of bread, sodas and sweets, now. I don't miss it, but in saying that, if I feel like it, I have it. ( all in moderation ) and the weight has stayed off. I like going for walk now, so that helps in maintaining my weight. Depending on the food, I still cant eat a lot.( half to 3/4 cup of food ) I do eat 5/6 times a day. ( although it might be a couple of mouthfuls, but it keeps me going through the day ) Good luck in your journey....

    Hi All, I thought I would drop by.. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. This morning, I weighed 60.7kg. Everyone seems to be going great guns with their weight. My family gave me clothes vouchers for Christmas and I had a ball shopping. I seem to stay between 60.4 - 60.8 kg, which is fine by me. So happy with my sleeve...

    Hi everyone, Huge congrats to Soul sister, that is terrific for reaching your goal. I know how excited I was when I reached mine. Good on you,Sould sister...I stayed the same as last week --- 60.5kg. Millymollymandy, congrats to you too. What an achievement, you must feel a lot better. Carislb, congrats for your loss, all the little things you do.... do make a difference. Cheers everyone..

    Weigh In Wednesday

    Hi Everyone, I`m going to pop in every Monday for my weigh ins, as I have my grand daughter every Wednesday morning and it can become very hectic, especially if I`m working ... She is only 18 months old and you need eyes in the back of your head.. But I do enjoy it... Still going great and feeling so much better than I did 12 months ago. I`m up 100g to 60.5kg. , which is just fine. I have been told lately by many people.... are you still losing weight? When I say No, they go ... are you sure? I just think my body is changing and some clothes make you look slimmer. I`m very happy where I am and I`m so glad I took the step to have the sleeve. It has change my life. I`m so much fitter, healthier and wanting to do so much more ( in the garden, outings etc ) and I love shopping now.. I have changed my eating habits a lot, but I don't miss out on anything. They are right, everything in moderation. It seems to be working. Hope everyone had a good week.

    Good Morning, up 300g this week to 60.7kg. When away for a 3 day birthday bash, on the weekend. Had a fabulous time and I loved getting dressed up for a change. lol Hope everyone is well.

    Hi Millymollymandy, I have changed my food and exercise, since having my sleeve. Since talking to my dietitian at the beginning, she told me what not to have and I have just stuck to it and the weight just came off and staying off. My biggest things were, zero coke, bread, sweet biscuits and nescalfe cappuccino. I use to drink up to 2 /3 cans of zero coke, 6- 8 sweet biscuits, 2-3 slices of bread and up to 4 cups of nescalfe cappuccino in a day. I haven't had a zero coke or sweet biscuits since two weeks before my surgery and I don't miss it at all, I have a slice of bread maybe once a week ( normally on a weekend, if I feel like it ) and I have a nescalfe cappuccino, maybe once a month on a average. I prefer normal coffee now.... Just cutting those items out of my daily diet, and of coarse cutting down on the amount of food I have at Breakfast , lunch and dinner ( on behave of my sleeve ) it all works for me. My surgeon told me to eat 4 or 5 small meals a day, which I do. I walk everyday now, as my energy level is high. I`m not good all the time, I do allow my self naughty things once in a while, its all in moderation. I`m happy where I am now...

    Good Morning everyone, I had a surprised this morning jumping on my scale..... had to do it again, down to 60.4kg that's a 700g loss. I don't know how, as I had my sister and nieces here for a few days this week and we went to a party and I did ate things I shouldn't of.....My sister told me though, I only have a bite of this and that. To me it seemed I was eating a lot. Like I said in the past, I would like to stay between 60 to 62 kgs. I wrote this morning but didn't click on save.....

    Good Morning everyone, Up 100g this week from 61kg to 61.1kg. Its all good, trying to stay between 60 to 62kg. I have roughly been this weight for a few weeks now, but my new clothes are getting too big. I have not lost a lot of weight lately, but my body shape must be changing. How weird ..... I use to have a bum that would come in the door, an hour later after the rest of my body came in and now I have no bum at all......Lol.... or thighs...
