Stabilisation - Now its time to move again.

Morning all Well not a very successful week for the effort put in. I am now walking between 10-16kms a week, so must be putting gon muscle, plus I had such a stressful work week, having been snacking which I don't normally do, albeit good snacks, they still add up. Anywho, long story short, I lost 300g and am now down to 66.1kg. I would have so loved to crack that 65 threshold. Next week! I think I can, I think I can....................

I can so relate, I had my tummy done, for surgical reasons way before my band, it has to be a good 10 years ago now but I can still remember it all. So all is forgiven for a few weeks, well at least 6-8. 10 years on and I am still stoked with the results. Good luck to both of you and I will be interested to hear how you go with scarring on your arms as I would dearly love to get mine done altho will give the batwing exercises a go for at least the 5 weeks they recommend. If no success I will ask the surgeon at my next visit in May. I love your quote BandedJules, my new mantra for when I am walking that 2km home from work.

What is the old saying...no pain, no gain, but for us it is aiming for a loss haha Well despite my noshing on everything that didn't move last weekend I managed to pull a loss of 500g this week and pretty damn stoked. I walked to work again this morning even in the slight rain and I feel fabulous. To infinity....and beyond......

Thanks guys, I don't feel so lonely now. Ada, I found this and am going to stick with it: I started walking to and from work yesterday, which is 2km each way and doing the above bat wing exercises of a night. I am determined to get to at least 65kg, which I haven't seen in well over 10 years. My xmas binge is behind me and boy did I binge. KimmyKay I even binged on chocolate which I don't normally eat, stupid xmas, lol. CYA here tomorrow for the weigh in

Hey Kaz, Yeah I saw you went over there, I went and had a squizz but I found there to be too many pages and I like the intimacy of this one so will continue here me thinks or I might do both. I am starting my post xmas cleanout as of tomorrow and also going to do some more walking as now that I have lost some I am all flabby and wobbly and need to tighen up. I wish I could get rid of my tuckshop lady arms as now that I have lost some weight small children could swing off the skin haha

Mmmm feeling lonely here this week, nobody else has anything to say. Oh well I will soldier on and keep weighing in on Wednesdays and putting my result here if only for my own encouragement. Good luck to everyone and their 2015 goals. Mine are only small this year but no less important as I march on towards my final goal of 65kg, I am so near yet to so far...........

Stabilisation - Now its time to move again.

Morning peeps, I hope you all had a grand time over the chrissie new year period. The scales this morning tells me that I have a wonderful time lol. So my start weight for 2015 is 66.9kg, which I have to say that I am not totally displeased with. Overall for last year I lost a sum total of 6.5kg, which exceeded my goal of 5kg by 1.5kg. My goal for this year is again to lose 5kg, so somewhere between 60 and 63kg, but prob closer to 63kg as I am too cheap to go and buy a whole new wardrobe that would be needed if I get to 60kg. First goal is 65kg by the end of March. So tell us all your goals for the year.

Morning peeps. My weigh in this morning was far better than I anticipated considering all the crap I have been eating and drinking. I was 66.8 on my mums scales and she says they are accurate so won't really know until next week when i get back on my own. Having said that I will take it as it is only a 200g gain. I hope everyone enjoys this last day of the year and take care and chat again next year when we continue on our respective journeys.

Afternoon peeps. Well unsurprisingly I am up this week, but only by 0.5kg so pretty happy with that, all things considered. I have been eating reasonably well, not perfect but I have been drinking heaps of beer and that is a killer for me at this time of year. I exceeded my 5kg goal for the year by losing a tad over 7kg, so absolutely stoked. Not sure if I will be here next week as internet access will be dodgy, so everyone have a great xmas and a great new year and see you back here again next year to hit the reset button and start all over again with my goal of 5kg loss next year too. Cheers

Morning peeps. A great start to the day for me as I was really scared about the scales this morning but happy to say that a loss of a further 800g, now 66.1kg and feeling 50 and fabulous. That is my catchcry since I turned 50 last year. I might even make my target of 65 point anything, which has been a 10 year dream. before the big fat xmas splurge where all bets are off. Cheers and hope you too have a fabulous day,

    Found my before pics today

I do and I didn't realise the difference until I saw my big fat head in the pic and realised that is how other people saw me, even when sometimes I didn't see myself. Onwards and Upwards.

Morning all, well after getting on and off the scales 3 times I finally got the number I wanted....66.9kg YAY. Finally into the 66's, so that is a loss of 300g for me, a bit disappointed it wasn't more as I thought I did everything right. Oh well I will take it. I am happy (sure I am) to sit in the 66's and use that as my stable number but with xmas coming along I fear that number will go bye bye's before long and not in a good way, lol Have a great one everyone.

Good job Kaz, sometimes I think that owning it is half our battle. At least you were brave enough to own it

Congrats Lillies awesome job! I too had a good week all things considered, now 67.2 so down 500g since last week and I will take it. Today I am at that tipping point where I need new pants to accommodate my new weight and that, apart from being expensive, is a great feeling knowing that not just the scales are showing it. I am now determined to come back here next week and be 66 point anything haha. Soldier on peeps and have a fabulous day.
  24. Good for you. You could always use the old Winston Churchill one...."yes and you are ugly, but at least I can lose weight"
