I just need to a have a little whinge, really a BIG whinge about the lack of consistency in clothing sizes. I currently have in my wardrobe tops and bottoms that range from size 12 to size 20 and they all fit me beautifully, and I'm not referring to plus sizes versus regular sizes. All these items of clothing are so called regular sizes. How can this be? I very reluctantly bought a size 18 suit jacket today. I almost didn't buy it because my vanity kicked in at the thought of wearing size 18, but I really loved the jacket and it was exactly what I have been looking for. I often look at lovely items of clothing online and I check the sizing info on the sites, but I am sick and tired of sending ill fitting clothing back and having to pay the damn return costs. Why isn't there a standard bloody sizing in Australia? Does anyone else out there share my frustration? Molly
Anybody have a dream outfit they are looking to get into or get back into? Mine is this amazing dress at Gorman. In fact I love everything from this label and can't wait to get into their clothes (Little bit pricey but I am saving for some key pieces) http://www.gormanshop.com.au/ipanema-jersey-dress-1.html - Erin
Good evening fellow bandits! I've been thinking to myself of late, as I'm now of the size I can purchase something in most "normal sized shops" (albeit the largest size at the moment!) I don't really know what I want to wear or would like to wear. Previously it has always been about "what fits me" or "what hides my lumps the best" now thinking to the future, chances are I'm going to be able to choose what I like and what I want to wear and I don't have the faintest idea what that is. There's SO MANY OPTIONS. I'm feeling a tad overwhelmed. I have no idea what style I want to wear or how I'm going to choose between clothes. I'm a style virgin! Anyone else feel this way?
Hi Ladies 18 months into my journey I'm still finding and throwing out stuff. I have a number of pairs of trousers and a couple of jackets that have all been altered /shortened for me. They are no longer any good to me but might be useful to you as you move down through the sizes along your journey. Jeans, work pants, trousers, light weight jackets - Brands include: Autograph, Queenspark, Katies, Black Pepper, Mirrors, The Clothing Company Each item is free to a good home but I would ask you cover the postage cost. I have posted this previously and will pop the same message on the Facebook page. Please let me now if you are interested. If no one wants them I will take them to the local Vinnies next week. Thanks S
