Hi All I had my banding done through the BMI Clinic in Joondalup and I am seeing Anton Kruger for my fills. I have been told that he takes it really slowly just so that there are no complications. I trust his expertise and I am happy to comply. I had my first fill about 10 days ago. He put in 2.5mls (not sure how big my band is). There was no fill put in at the time of surgery. I am due to go back on Tues for a possible additional 2.5mls. I know there are other doctors out there that put in fill at the time of placing the band and then put in 4mls or more at the first fill. I also know that a couple of these bandits that this was done to did not have a very good time in the beginning and in fact they got quite sick. I was just wondering if any of you bandits out there have been to BMI or him specifically and what the normally pattern is for the fills that he gives. Thanks for any info.
Hello All you Fabulous Peeps! I had my first fill this morning and am burping like a trooper! Had hiccups galore and am sipping veeeeerrrrrryyyyyy slowly on optifast! I am 3 weeks post opp and have had 4ml put in. What are everyone's experiences? I want the good, the bad and the ugly! What is weight loss like after a fill? is it quick? Slow? Does it depend?? I have gone up and down since surgery but I am told this is normal? Looking forward to hearing from all you Beautiful Bandits!!
its been a couple of months now and i believe i have found that spot... the green zone.... its amazing... i was so sick and tired of getting jabbed every two weeks, then every month.... so far i haven't had a fill in about 3 months... I'm still losing weight... even though i am occasionally having an alcoholic drink or having some fattening food... i just find it amazing that i can do so.... sometimes i have been on nearly 4 days of eating rubbish and i still seem to lose weight... i know I'm not eating as much anymore but i still seem to be able to continue to lose the weight... some people say it is my age... some say that its luck... what ever it is I'm happy to be at the spot where i can lose weight, eat healthy have my occasional bad day and still continue to steadily drop the weight.... sorry to all those who have not found that spot.... took them over a year to get there and well now I'm there! im so excited to nearly have lost 50kgs! at the moment I'm at 47kgs weight loss since banding... so I'm not far from it... I've always wanted to be under 110kgs.... then under 100kgs... to be only 2 digits would be the best feeling ever!
