Just putting this out there people. I have just recently been Banded (18th March 2014) and find myself with allot of personal questions about how this procedure is now and will continue to affect my life in to the future. I only know one other person that has been banded and apart from my mate, I have no one to talk about WLS with. I know I can always jump on line and find answers to my questions in forums like this one; everyone has been supportive and replied to the handful of questions that I've posted on banding together however I'm much more of a face-to-face person. My question for the community is anyone else in the Sydney metro area interested in starting up a monthly WLS support group? Thank you Fudge

Hi there everyone! I was banded in january of this year, and have started a support group on Facebook for those who live in Western Sydney. The page can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/groups/261653290614852/ and is called The Western Sydney Bandits. To view the page you must have an account on facebook and be logged in. It has been done this way to ensure your privacy on facebook. This group has been created for those who need some support and to link up bandsters with one another. In future, we would like to meet up! Can't wait to see you there!
