Day 6 post op and hungry

Recommended Posts

Hey lovelies,

Today is day 6 post op, feeling fantastic and since Monday dropped 4.4kgs.

Total loss in 3 weeks 9.8kgs.

However today I have woken up and had a drinking yoghurt and jelly. I would normally be satisfied with this.

I am starving!!!!! How much did you eat in post op stage.

As of Monday im apparently on thick liquids.

Thank you

your swelling is going down and so things are settling down in general. If you are still on thin liquids, try protein poppers as they can be more satisfying. I liked the Musashi poppers from Woolworths (the coffee is nice). If you are handy to a 7-11, ask them if they stock Rokeby Downs Protein Smoothies - these are MAGNIFICENT and perfect for liquid phase.

you will notice a difference in your satiety once things start to thicken up :)

That sounds really positive. Your body is healing and wants food. Keep the protein up as it is great for healing and assisting hunger. But make sure your servings are always small. I lived on homemade soups blended in the bullet. These early days are important it trains you to eat smaller portions.
