Mum is doing well thank goodness.
I live near Bairnsdale, beautiful area.
The water is receding now, so no real flooding here. Further up at Orbost they had a bit though.
Give yourself time, and don't compare. And feel free to return the advise when I need it come April! Always easier said than done, isn't it. LOL

I am so amazed at the wealth of information there is these days compared to back in 2005 when I had my band put in (we were given a small A4 booklet) from the dietision we saw once and that was it. None of these informative books and stuff.... so I have been loving reading all the info and getting my head around it all. It is like starting from scratch.
How much weight have you lost Josie?

Then I come on here and read about others successes and feel excited again. Such a roller coaster.
My gym attendance has been sporadic. It always gets bumped down to the bottom of the list behind school closures (from the flood), Mum, sickness (me and kids), taking OH ute in for service or just not going in to town. I live out of town so a whole day at home is a luxury if I don't have kids to run around etc. Mum is much more independent now so I don't have to go in every day.
I keep waiting for life to settle down, and to establish routines but it just aint happening lol. I will persist for at least six months after surgery with the gym. If I just can't make it work I will cancel my membership guilt free.
Congratulations on cracking the double figures! Its been years since I've been in double figures. Can't wait!
As for pre op diet, Mr Chan didn't think I needed to do optifast. I will talk to Lee about this when I see her. I think I would like to do at least a week to kick start things.
I'm still convincing OH about the surgery. He's working hard to maintain 70kg wringing wet! And he likes my curves. But I just feel so bad, not sleeping well, no energy, sore hips and ankles, sweating in the heat. Its got to change.
Have you noticed improvements yet?

Gee you are having a hectic time there..you must make more time for you!!!!! Obviously you have to make the best decision for you...it is a life long
decision.
For me I can look back to the mutiple times I have lost weight and regained. I have polio and have had many ops.. right knee replaced and left ankle fused twice, osteoarthritus lower spine..just have to give my body a break. Oh and I can so relate to sweating in the heat. Getting my thyroid problem
has been the last straw. So I have the incentive to get ot right.
I have certainly noticed clothing looser and walking a small distance not getting out of breath. Unfortunately I have damaged a tendon in right hip in the
last few weeks. So thats raining on my parade at the minute because my right leg takes most of my weight and I depend on it.
I have also noticed I am sleeping better,,my breathing is better.
Well probably said more here than I had intended too...however as they say "I am in wonderful shape for the shape I'm in"
I think having a chat to Lee will help..You need to explain to your OH even though he thinks you are great it is your health that must be your
priority..
I used to think my bf just likes overweight ladies..well I news for him and for me its all good...
Thinking of you
Cheers

Glad your visit with Lee went well, yes she is lovely. Can't answer the question about the 90's as I have just arrived back from Perth which was non stop
catch up at so many places for eats and the Wedding in the middle. At the moment I seem to have no restrictions so I relaxed a bit but most of the
times behaved. Perhaps a few too many reds. Sooooo I am not game at the min to hop on scales..perhaps first up- tomorrow morning. I will
keep you posted
How are you going Mumma Poss after your fill?
Cheers

Had my first fill of 1ml that was removed when I had the blockage..... felt some restriction again but still feeling hungry after meals etc so back this Thursday for another fill.
I need to find my original paperwork to know what size band I have as they think it may be the small 4ml one...... will try and remember to find the paperwork and take it to them so we all know for sure.
Not sure what my weight is doing as I have not weighted myself since but I am feeling slightly better. IYKWIM
Happy Easter to you all.... we are staying home as DH is away at work until Thursday and I have to work Monday.
