I've got the Allergan small band with 10ml capacity. Had 5ml in at time of op (was not aware of this until yesterday). Now have 6ml after first fill. Another interestingly useless fact (I learnt a lot of these yesterday), my band costs about $2000 - just for the band itself, not the cost to put it in or anything. However medicare states that it should only cost just under $900 to fit a person with a band. WTF?

Hi if anyone could help me I am in my 3rd week and feeling quite hungry do you feel I should see if I could get my fill done earlier or is there

Wow, a 3.5ml band I've never heard of one so small, you must have the smallest stomach.
I have a MiniMizer - Extra Band which is a non slip band thats holds 10mls.

LAP-Band:

LAP-Band is the brand name for what is also known as the American band. The American band differs from the Swedish band by being shorter and not having as wide of a range of adjustability. This band was first used in 1993 which can be put in place in about 40 minutes, and like other bands, is adjustable and removable.
Mid-Band:

The Mid-Band was introduced after the other bands and its said the Mid-Band is more flexible than other bands because its made of silicone.
Due to its flexibility, Mid-Bands are reported to be easier to fit to patient stomachs.
