Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has purchased this book and can tell me if it is worth purchasing...
also, what about the portion control plate and bowl, are they worth the money?
kind regards, Dee

Hi Dee
I have purchased this book and another one, the plate and the bowl. Knife Fork and band I personally think is brilliant!!! One of the best I have read on banding. Walks you right through everything and is very similar to the information given to me by my Dietitian which is reassuring....worth every cent!!

This book is AMAZING.

I have been using it ever since I started my Optislop and am finding it a God send now that I am post banding.

It has so many ideas in it for smoothies and soups. I can't see myself getting bored in the next 2 weeks on my fluid stage.

There are some other great books out there as well. I have purchased almost every book you can think of for lap banding. I have a llist of them on my blog if you want to go and check them out,

Do you reckon it's worth me buying the book, now that Im back on normal food? Or is it more for pre-surgery?

I have the plate, but havent used it yet.

I started on normal food this week, but I was away for work, so this weekend is my first time preparing meals. Im not sure what to make.. I think I need this book for ideas.

It's up to you...

There are many recipes in there for normal food stage as well. I'm a (excuse the expression), a book whore so I buy anything! lol.

I have about 4 post surgery recipe books.

I want to get this plate... where do I find it?

Hey Slowdell

Here is the link for the plate

There is one for LapBanders and one just for normal dieting (well I know the books are different, maybe the plates are the same??), so make sure you suss that out :)

All,
I have bought books / DVD's from a dietician in Melbourne called "Helen Bauzon". http://www.helenbauz...au/Lap_Band.php

Check out her website as she also does one-on-ones and group session in Melbourne.

She is also on Facebook and has some great ideas / thoughts and suggestions.
