Hey Suzie, you are amazing, and are such an inspiration for the rest of us.

Re - Loose skin, I have looked into some lotions etc, and have purchased some Skin Tight made by Nourish in the US, apparently if you use it religiously for 3 months 2 times a day, it will have a big impact. I am also taking Swisse Skin, hair and nails liquid to combat the skin from inside and out. Just thought I would share.

Hey Pete thanks for that but i doubt that anything would help the huge amount of excess skin that ive got.
My Dr said that een if i exercised 24 hours a day it wouldnt go so eventually i will go under the knife and have it removed.
It wont be for awhile yet i want to wait until ive lost all i want and have kept it off for at least 12 months.
So for now its just exercise, healthy eating and the occasional glass of red wine lol!!


Hope your doing ok as i see you only had your banding a couple of days ago?

Hey Suzie, still feeling sore and sorry for myself. I overdid it today going to Aldi as I only had the band done Tuesday arvo. I am sure it will come good in the next few days.

Pete,

Dont overdo it as your body needs the rest time to heal. It took me a couple of weeks to start feeling back to normal.
Walking short distances was all i could manage and didnt venture to the shops for at least a week.
Besdies who would want to do grocery shopping lol..... but now i LOVE shopping clothes that is ha!

Thanks Erin i must say im amazed at what a difference a year can make!!!

Has been easy and alot of time spent slogging it out on the treadmill and making good food choices
but it has been so worth every minute of pain and anguish.

It was the best decision i made to get banded and wish id done it sooner.

You look AMAZING!!!! I cannot tell you what an inspiration you are but I have a feeling you already know because everyone is telling you the same thing. You must have worked very hard. CONGRATULATIONS. It is so great to read how happy your are and how life is so good for you. I know weight loss is not the be all and end all but it is always so lovely to read how it losing weight helps people embrace life again. I'm looking forward to going to the beach one day when I get near goal. Speaking of goal when I get there I'm dedicating it to you and others like you that have inspired me along the way!
