I've had shoulder pain daily since the Op. I believe there is some nerve down near the port connected to the shoulder so maybe the fill just hit that nerve. I've also had the short stabbing pains under the rib cage and I think I put a thread on it in the Bandit Lounge or FAQ. They disappeared after 2-3 days so I believe it was just some sort of settling.
I haven't had a fill yet so I dont know for sure obviously, but I if you are concerned and it still happens tomorrow/thurs then give your clinic a call.

Wow this thread is very very quiet!!!!!
Hopefully you are all settling in to banded life, and are having some success on the scales.
AFM, Had an appointment for my first adjustment yesterday (5 weeks banded), but after chatting with surgeon he decided I didn't need a adjustment yet.... Am still very cautious when I eat as I have some restriction as to the volume of food I can consume. I don't think I've had a "stuck" moment yet although there's been a few times when calcium tablets have proved a bit difficult to shift.
In 5 weeks since surgery I am 32% to my goal weight, and feeling on top of the world.
Would love to know where you are all at in your journey's.

Hope everyone is travelling well.
I've been on solids for 2 weeks now and had my first fill on Friday. I have 4 ml in a 10ml band. Ate out for the first time today with other Sydney bandits and that wasnt as scary as I thought it would be.
I still have shoulder pain daily and have come to the conclusion I think I'm gonna be stuck with it!
Kell75 congrats on double figures! I agree, it was a good feeling!

Well I guess I should consider myself lucky, banded March 1st, I can eat anything (except fried rice - go figure! )no pain, no vomiting, little restriction, but consequently not much weight lost either -
At 9.5 kg in 9 weeks, - its SLOOOOOWWWW
Got my third fill last week, now 7ml in a 14ml band and starting to see results but Im too scared to jump on the scales until the week is up.
Hanging in there!

Glad to hear everyone is tracking well. Yes bring on the fills I say.
Just wanted to let you all know that due to the success of yesterdays awesome Sydney lunch get together, we (Kylie) are panning another lunch date early July, location possible Top Ryde. Please got to the NSW page for more details.
I really recommend making the effort, it was very informative and I met some lovely people, including fellow March bandit, MissA.This was my first get together and it was a really wonderful experience so come alone.
We may possible look at a night out later in the year and it it would be amazing if we could get some people from the other states to come.
Anyway the invitation is out there fellow March bandits.Hope to see some interest from this group:)

Hope everyone is well.
Well.. exciting news - 3 days with NO shoulder pain. It's been 7 weeks and it has become a daily occurence until Saturday when I had none, thought I was lucky.. then Sunday and now today. We'll see if it continues!!
I have 4ml in my 10ml band but I think I need more. Im not hungry til midday/1pm so eat lunch then and then eat dinner about 7pm...... then I'm good til midday the next day. So the hunger is mostly curbed but I can still eat a lot. No where near what I could before obviously but maybe it seems like a lot after weeks and weeks of minimal food. Losing slowly still which is good.
Anyway, hope you're all great

I hope everyone is doing well, I'm happy to say I am now half way
I must say I'm very lucky not to have yet had any pb or stuck moments although I have learnt what I can and can't tolerate through a little pain on the way down!
everyone is very quiet, anyone else have any updates??
