I was looking through my Christmas photo's and had a look at Christmas 2010 - I have finally come to terms with my new body and being that it's hot in Melbourne we have been down the beach everyday and I can't say how liberating it's been frolicking with my almost husband and children in minimal clothing - as I said to my sister yesterday it's like I have been re-born. I no longer care about my slightly flabby arms or my stretch marks this is me.

2010 ( the pic of me with my children I have blacked them out as they are minors ) - 108.7kg ( I checked my weight loss log) I started the journey at the end of March 2010 at 137kg.

Good on you, Kelly. All the hard work, the plateaus etc are well worth it. I agree with you. I no longer care about the flabby bits etc, I work hard at the gym and figure that this is me in all my glory.
I too have followed your story with interest and have taken on board a lot of what you have mentioned about the gym. It has become such a way of life for me now that I can recognise the changes in my attitude if I miss sessions. I also have a personal trainer and it is probably one of the best things I have done since the surgery.
Best wishes for your upcoming wedding - as someone who has been happily married for 29 years to the man I consider my soulmate - I can thoroughly recommend it.

Thanks everyone I certainly wouldn't take back anything that has happened in the 21 months I have been banded - today I have a dress fitting to have my wedding dress altered so I am hoping it's not too big that altering will loose it's shape I am a tab scared tbh ( in a strange way happy) and I can't wait to crack the last 8kg come feb 2nd

Well Kelly all i can say is woohoo
What a difference and you have worked so hard to get there and it certainly has been worth all the hard work hun.

I was so pleased to see the pics but cant wait to see the wedding pic!!!

Enjoy your day hun and keep up the great work and that last 8kg will be a thing of the past.
