This is the dress I mentioned that I bought from Style and Substance in the bandit lounge.

The dress comes with shoulder straps and a purple sash which I chose not to wear in this picture as straps annoy me and the sash is bright purple - so I was worried it would accent my tummy).

No where to go with it yet. I am trying to convince hubby to ditch the kids (with a babysitter) and take me out for Valentines Day... But I have a feeling by the time I actually have a reason to wear it, it may have to have it altered.

Beautiful dress! Maybe if you feel like it, post a picture of you wearing the sash with it. If you wear it on the waist, it can make the bottom half of the dress, and therefore your legs, look longer. I get particular about wearing things a certain way, then getting someone elses perspective makes me see things a bit differently sometimes.

It looks great on you as it is though!

Sadly, as those that have lost a substantial amount of weight will know, inevitably things DO start to go south, in quite another way haha!!

Yip. I wish I could flex the fat left in my tummy up to my boobs to prevent them from being so.... deflated and earth bound. Then maybe the top of the dress would fit me correctly.

Boy I can SO relate to this. Not only did I used to have boobs with filling, but my tummy used to hold them up. now both have shriveled up. My stomach, thanks to all the scars and deflated stretchmarks, now resembles a treasure map! Luckily I can just tuck into into my pants and be on my way!!

Very beautiful dress !! I am only just getting the confidence to go sleeveless more out of desperation trying to find something to fit me. I havent worn a dress/skirt since 1992. I will get there yet lol...

Noice, different, noice! hahah. I can't wait to get the confidence to wear a nice dress. My 5 yo daughter asked me just the other day why I didn't wear dresses.
