Hi All February is here and its a wet rainy day in NSW...

It will be my 2nd year anniversary of being Banded on 24th February and I could not be happier..
Here is my photo before banding Feb 2010 and then a year later Feb 2011 I will make sure to add one
on my next Birthday but I think it will be the same as 2011 anyway as I got down to 85kilos and have stayed there which I am really really happy about..


Had a coffee with my mate Tina today and passed over some Banding stuff, I am getting really excited for her whoo ! tina GOOD LUCK FRIEND....

My critters are all well and happy that the renovations are finally OVER..Sunny and Buddy (parrots) are
back in their bird room , the cats are allowed to come downstairs when the birds are in their room..all
is well..
Business is flat out hired another couple of people last week, fingers crossed it stays busy..

Off to watch some telly with the critters , Loving The Biggest Loser and my Favorite tonight

hanks guys , I feel great Sandy congratz on the 33 kilos off I toolost mine in the first 12 month (well the majority anyway) and I too could notbe happier....Weekend here again , weather has been wet and crappy all week...feelso sorry for the people north of here battling floods..End of month bills to do ,always a busy time for me and how quick theend of month seems to come..I hope everyone their family & critters are all well, have a great wekend all..Marion

Hi All , well Monday is over watching the big bang repetes while waiting for The Mentalist (new episode)
blood tests got some script repetes then off I went to get the banking and Monday chores done and get sone
chicken and veggies for dinner..
Best of luck for all getting banded this week, including my Mate Tina...
Spending tomorrow at home ironing after being slack last week and not doing it I have a huge
pile, will get Osso Bucco going in the morning in the slow cooker so dinner will be done
when the men get home..
Thanks for the compliments guys I can't believe I will be 64 in a few days..

You are so well organised, Marion. Well done to you:)
I also did not realise you were nearly 64, goodness me, you don't look it.
School is well and truly back now and we are into our routines. My classes are quite large this year so organisation is going to be my key to getting through all the marking etc.
Our family are all well as are our cats. The weather here in NZ has been a bit disappointing this summer so I am starting to prepare for autumn by visiting my favourite second hand clothing shops. I am still reluctant to spend too much money on new clothes because I still have 11kgs to go. I do find that the Savemart stores are great and I can get a range of lovely clothes, good labels and the right styles and colours for me relatively cheaply. Hubby is also delighted at the cost and often encourages me...bahahahahaha, I love it.

Thats a great idea Donna... I still find myself spending rediculous amounts of money on new clothes, only to have them not fit later!!!

Well I have started the new job (and no... my uniform was too tight after Xmas )... but it has only been orientation etc... so today is the first day on the ward!!!

Good luck on your first day tawney-always a bit daunting.
I went ahead and had 1ml put back in my band yesterday. What a difference!! My appointment wasn't until the 20th but after putting on 3+ kg in the last month and really struggling to take off 1/2kg in the last week I decided not to wait. I will keep the appointment on the 20th to put in another ml and go back to were I was before I had fill taken out. I found out last week that the "cold" I had and the continuous coughing since then is actually whooping cough. Alas- it's now too late to have antibiotics and I'm no longer contagious so I just have to wear it until it runs its course.
Over the last month it was so easy to fall into bad habits-no need to chew, "normal" size portions and no restriction on what I could eat. Brought back to earth very quickly yesterday after starting to scoff a cheese and spinach muffin and getting that Uh Oh! feeling as if it was going to get stuck. Back to chewing properly again.
Had enough of the rain!!

Well my Thursday cleaning day is over I am showered and refreshed the house is clean feeling Great..

I have decided to book a lunch at Blue Water Pizza for my Birthday Saturday as son has the girls and it will be loverly to eat out and not have to cook for everyone ON MY BIRTHDAY ..lol..if the weather is nice we will head to the park or walk along the lake after...

I did`t invite my good mate Tina as she was just banded yesterday and is on liquids didn`t want to be mean BT when she is on normal food we will have to celebrate ..Its a great place to go as I can usually eat a good slice of pizza nice and slow while everyone else is gobbling theirs they don`t notice me...if I am lucky I might fit 2 slices in
Cooking a stirfry vegies with meatballs and noodles tonight, and tomorrow my daughter is home so doing her and my favorite lamb cutlets and avocado salad...

No other plans hopefully a nice relaxing weekend after moving most of other sons furniture and house hold items I am OVER moving stuff, got a bit more to do but I reckon its mans stuff (tools etc from the tool shed and a weight lifting set )

Hoping everyone has had a good week and have a wonderful weekend, come share your plans ..My boys (the parrots) are screaching for me I am drip drying after a nice shower Best get dressed and go see what they want...they are worse than kids ..the cats are up here snoozing in the office...what a life..

After having an 18 hours day at work yesterday and only managing 3 hours sleep I drove over to Rockhampton and back for my 7th fill and I now have 5mls in my 10ml band.
My surgeon said 5mls is the most she can fit into this band for the big boys so hopefull I'll finally have restriction.
It was Leo's birthday yesterday, he turned 5 so today I bought him a new collar, a lead and a squarky toy, he loves the squarky toys and is carrying it everywhere he goes around the house. I'm looking for it to take a photo and he's taken it outside.

Well I am off to bed after a loverly Birthday with family and friends.. and got some nice gifts too
my gold necklace from hubby nice perfume and bath gel from Rick, chocolates (which I opened and let everyone eat (I had 2)
some loterry tickets and some loverly hair combs from the girls which they picked out themselves....
Lunch at Blue Water Pizza on the lake..then home for coffee and ice-cream cake
a relaxing day had by all and it ended too soon the grand-kids had to go home at 5pm
but it was loverly that they were with Rick to help celebrate my Birthday...
Off to bed now just thought I would share a couple of piccys..

I had a nasty fall at work yesteday and landed hard on both knees, left shoulder, stomach, left hand and wrist.
This morning my left knee is sore and my stomach is very painfull, I went to work but went home after 1 1/2 hours and have
just returned from the doctor who said I have a cracked rib and bruising.
Well its off to be for me , nigh nights.

Just back from spending time with Mum and Dad ..Valentines day is special for them married 65 years ago....
Got lots of book work to get into now ...



Also on returning home found on of the fur boys asleep UNDER our pillows....TOO cute I had to share...
