Wow, you've done fantastic, Dingo! Hopefully the rest of us February bandits will have just as much success and determination as you. I put on weight before my op :( but with one week to go I have lost it all again and then some.

Sorry your thread had to start with a somewhat negative reply. I get sick of people telling me I'n not big enough for the bad and would imagine that other people do too. Who gives a flying fruitcake how big you are when you start. For me the fact is that my body and my health can't handle being even this much overweight and if I think I need help to loose that weight, I will damn well get the help I need to loose the weight!

Keep up you great work, Dingo. Looking forward to seeing more great success from you now that you are officially a bandit :D

Can't wait for you two to go back to Bali and walk down the street without the street vendors calling out "we have big size" "we have 5xl" or my favourite "we have big mumma size"

Paul - well done, glad to hear all went well and you are going to be smokin before you know it :P

Hey Dingosrun, Yes, you are right it is your decision and nobody else's. I only need to lose 20kls so I guess the same could be said about me. But after losing my sister last year through a heart attack at 72 and both my parents with stroke/heart attack I say it is no ones business but mine. My surgeon told me by having this surgery I will half my chance of heart attack/stroke so why would I not take his advice. Good on you for wanting to get healthy.

Hi Paul,
Hope all is going well. I have just been telling my hubby about your journey. We had a chuckle about the "king kong" size thing. He does not have weight issues but I had been overweight for some time and have encountered some funny comments as well. At the time they were a bit embarrassing, all good now though.
Don't worry about the photos, the only ones anyone is interested in are the ones related to the thread.
I can imagine how proud you are of each other. It was something that I never thought about until a couple of people at different events said to me that they had noticed how proud of me Warrick was. It is a nice feeling.
Best wishes with your journey, and keep posting the pictures. The before and afters are amazing.
Have a good week
Donna
