ive been banded for a few years now but on wednesday of last week i have a bad stuck episode and kept vomiting a few times and that night i went to bed with sever heart burn so i had several antacid tabs which helped some what....the next day i found i had some soup and it felt like i had trapped gas in my chest so i walked around and id burp and felt a tad bit better but still had that heart burn feeling, when im not eating i feel normal but when i eat or drink i get that same feeling of pressure in chest liike trapped gas and heart burn needless to say in the last few days ive only eaten yogurt and soup...i rang my dr and she said ive maybe got something stuck and to have a fizzy drink and only mushy foods for the next few days and if it still persists i can go in and she will take all my fill out and i can try to flush it out...im so worried that my band has slipped as i dont have any money to get it fixed and id hate to lose it:/ does anyone think that maybe my throat is inflames maybe i guess im just grabbing at straws so to speak.........please any advice would be great............and as for sleeping at night is no problem and i dont have reflux at all....

I'm pretty sure band slippage is supposed to be covered under the medicare scheme as its post care/ health emergency type thing. Check with your doctor. If it has slipped you cannot live with it like that and will have to get it fixed.

It may just be inflamed form scraping but You need to see your doctor if it keeps going.
