There is no need for a special "tone" sound/button...as you just did it again!

People ask for advice, not to be preached at.

Lighten up.. or as Neddy says MELLOW OUT MAN

As for advice versus preached .. I guess there is a fine line between the two..If you don't like what you hear/read then its considered preaching and if you do like/agree then it's advice - GO FIGURE !!!

OK Ladies enough! Must be something in the air...have had a day of clashes on and off the computer.
Time for a sit down and a cup of tea (or glass of wine if you prefer).

I have no need to "lighten up"...am already there. Don't agree with advice vs preaching analysis. I often don't like advice but will not necessarily view it as preaching. It's all in the delivery. :)

sorry Elly.. could have sworn you said I was preaching.. I thought I was only giving advice.. doesn't matter as I am sure the OP has it all sorted today (fingers crossed she rang the surgeon)

I do hope my delivery of this message was more to your liking

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I spoke to the clinic today who reassured me I was 100% on schedule with their instructions & trialling the right foods at the right time. So it's all good.

I appreciate everyone's responses in the context of me asking a question & hearing different views. I'm sorry it turned into a bit of a heated post - sometimes the typed word can misrepresent a person's intent. I did feel a bit "told off" at some of the initial comments but understand no one meant to reprimand me, you were sharing advice.

I won't be posting any more comments on this thread, just wanted to thank you all again & let you know what the clinic said.

As for my liking your message, your tone means very little to me. I don't like seeing others upset. Thanks for the sarcasm though. I am bemused.

Can you guys let me know where you can get a computer that gives you the sound of somebodies 'tone' as they type..

As someone who has had many incidents of foot in mouth I can confidently say that it is not always what you say but how you say it. What I mean is that the words themselves make a difference, not just the tone of voice.

Having said that, I know you meant well - so all is well :)

Definetely an interesting topic, thanks for your honesty.

Even though your doctor suggested solids on your third week, you should definetely take it easy. Your stomach has just been MAJORLY altered and eating these foods could cause you to PB and PB'ing this early is a sure fire way to band slippage.

Don't be too hard on yourself, we're all here because we love food a little too much and it's really hard.

Enjoy your first real meal guilt-free and as per doctor's orders :) :)
