The GP I see only bulk bills patients that have a concession card. With the blood test I got sent a bill havent gone to medicare yet, so I dont know how much I will get back.
The BMI clinic charges a $1250 admin fee, this is for your aftercare and they bulk bill all fills etc...

Initially I was told I would be banded in June but because I have some health issues the date was bought forward to April.

Ive just been banded by Dr Dolan at Glengarry hospital. My first appointment was the 17th Jan, banding date 16th Feb. I'm a private patient with HBF (not top hospital) and have no concessions.
Cost so far are:
GP - bulkbilled
Bloodtests - bulkbilled
Dietician - no appointments available pre-op, I'm seeing her the 16th March
Ist appointment with Dr Dolan $170 (got $71.40 back from medicare)
Dr Dolan Admin fee: $1000 (not claimable thru medicare of HBF)
In hospital: I had a $100 HBF excess to pay on admission, $64 for TED stockings and these foot pump thingos whilst in hospital, and I'm expecting a bill from the pharmacy for discharge medication - prob around $75.
So not too bad so far!
