I need to buy new scales for home.... something that is reliable and accurate.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Im thinking the Weight Watchers Body Analysis ones so any reviews on them would be good too.

I've got the weight watchers body analysis ones and find them pretty good in that they match the ones at the surgeons. No surprises!

Got them at target on sale.

Tanita are one of the best on the market. I have had two sets and my old gym used to use them too. They always weigh accurately and are the same as when I get on the wii and are inline with my Doctors ones. I always weigh a little heavier on the docs ones as I am fully dressed and it is later in the day.

Some scales you can hop on and off three times in a row and get three different readings :(

Where are the tanita ones purchased from? I have alleged expensive fantastic German ones and I can get on and off 6 times and get 6 completely different reads (like up to 2kg difference!!)

funny you say that chookhead.. yesterday I got three different readings on my WW scales - so obviously I took the lowest one ;) Previously they had been within 400g of the doctors ones - perhaps the battery needs changing

I recommend you don't weigh yourself at home and only go by either the dietician or the surgeons scales.

No fun in that. My weighing in the morning determines how my whole day is going to go, good weight loss and I am happy for the day, weight gain and I sink into deep depression for the day. :D

I'm the same! Not sure how healthy it is for my mind - but weigh in every morning and night. Personally for me - makes me more aware of the food I eat throughout the day. :)
