Hi All,

I have booked in with Dr Memon at the Sunnybank Obesity Clinic to be banded in about a month's time and just wondering whether anyone has been banded by him or knows of him. I think he is fairly new to the Clinic. I would have preferred to go with Dr Bowden or Dr Greenslade but Sunnybank Private Hospital is the best hospital within my price range. I wasn't all that impressed with him on the first consultation but the practice nurse is amazing and I have heard good things about the clinic generally.

Any info would be great. I am new to all of this and, after much research, still feel a little hesitant about surgery.

Hi Daniel
I was banded by Blair Bowden as an intermediate patient at the RBWH - have you looked into that? Definitely makes him more affordable! You really need to be happy with your surgeon, as its going to be a very long term relationship.

I had the previous practice owner - Dr Nicholson. He was good. Have not seen new guy yet. Female dr are both great for fills and advice. Judy - practice manager is really on the ball and always helpful if yu need advice at short notice, or even just to calm your nerves

Hi All

I was banded by Dr Memon 5th August 2011. He is a great surgeon and gives fantastic after care. He does not charge for fill appointments and looks after you very caringly and personally. His staff are fantastic and all specialists in this field. You will not be dissapointed.
