Just wondering if anyone can help me. There will be some medication that i will have to continue taking post banding as it has absolutely nothing to do with weight loss (totally irrelevant) and the tablets are a decent size. I don't believe it could be crushed up though and mixed with anything, so i'm worried I won't be able to swallow them.
Is anyone else in this situation? And no there is no liquid form of them and yes I very much have to take them.

Thanks :)

Ness, I haven't had any trouble taking a vitamin tab the size with a line down the middle that you can break in half. I worried about this pre-band but still don't have any trouble with 6ml in 9ml band. I think you just need to relax and take your time :) .

I haven't had any problems either! Having said that... it may be something that you should speak to your surgeon about, just in case!

I've had trouble taking naturopathic tablets since my last fill (just 3.5ml in a 7ml band) but I think I'm on the cusp between the green and red zones. I'm seeing my surgeon tomorrow and will ask him to take some out.

I had no probs with 3ml in but it seems 3.5ml is too much for me

Make sure you talk to your surgeon about the medication.
At the hospital I took tablet medication no problem.

For me it depends on the time of the day. Multivitamins in the morning is asking for trouble. Multivitamins in the afternoon, not so bad. You will start to learn your bands behavioral patterns and when/if you can and can't fit those things through.

Forgot to mention, I take 3 prescription meds and have no trouble with those as they are small.

I'm on medication that are quite large. I'm actually on quite a few for several ailments and these meds are essential. I find that time of day makes a difference to me. I can't take the larger ones in the morning but have no real trouble at evenings. I set my phone alarm as they must be taken at the same time each day.

Funnily enough I'm on more meds since losing weight than before but like you they are not weight related. Just a pain in the neck (no pun intended). Hope this helps.
