Chris, I remember hearing about this from bandits when I was looking into my own band. I was so addicted to food and never truly believed that it could really take my desire for those big pig outs away. I honestly thought I would struggle to eat the smaller servings and would always be sabotaging myself by sneaking food when no-one was looking or something. But I now know that it is really true. I am so happy with my new attitude to food and the fact that I can have an orange and an orange for lunch and be completely satisfied with that. My body is changing shape and getting smaller and all in all I am just thrilled.
Marion, I hear ya. Your dietitian is completely right. I don't mind allowing myself that one chocolate biscuit or anything because I know I only do it once a week at most compared to past performance of eat half the packet in front of the tv one night and the second half the next night because you know they are there and can't stop them nagging at you. We don't even keep them in the house anymore. Last night I went and did the grocery shopping and this fortnight's luxury was a box of cocopops lol. I know they're not entirely healthy but I think I might have a small bowl for lunch today

I'm looking forward to eat and I never thought I'd see a small bowl of cereal as a treat lol. How our minds change.
Brooke, Thanks for sharing this story and letting us reflect on how much we are all changing. I really love my band
