Considering the band??

Hi, I'm considering banding and I'm a little concerned about the procedure I'm an old bit chicken and I'm very interested in talking to anyone out there that's kept their weight off for a long period of time i.e. isn't new to banding

I'm 12 months in and doing fantastically!

I think the band is the best decision I have made in my life. I have lost so much weight and I plan on losing so much more.

Hi Jan, type in "Marie" into search at the top of page. When the topics and comments come click on "life with a lap band 9 years on" and you will see Marie's comments she has been banded 9 years and you can always send her a private message and I an sure she will get back to you.

Hi and Welcome ... I am only newly banded too ( Lake Macquarie area) was done by Dr Wright ...all I can say so far I wish I had of done this sooner ....I am an oldie 62yrs and have been overweight for the past 20 odd years.....
I had no problems at all with the operation or my post banding days ...a little sore and very tired for a few days but thats it....
